Paralegal
Candidate must possess the following: - 1. Law Degree or equivalent (LL.B, J.D, GDL, etc.); 2. Candidates with 1 Year of law firm experience preferred; 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office; 4. Proficient in Chinese and English word processing; and 5. Fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English. 6. Committed to join the Legal Profession. 7. Team Player. Job description and responsibilities: - 1. Assisting in criminal, civil, matrimonial litigation and non-contentious matters; 2. Assisting in drafting and legal research; 3. Clerical /secretarial and administrative Duties; and 4. Court attendance and outdoor duties. Working Hours: - 1. Mon to Fri: 9:15 AM- 6:05 PM, and Sat: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM (alternate) 2. 1 months probation 3. Salary: HK$15,000 - HK$17,000 per month Trainee Solicitor (2024 Intake) Candidate must possess the following: - 1. Law Degree or equivalent (LL.B, J.D, GDL, etc.); 2. PCLL; 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office; 4. Proficient in Chinese and English word processing; and 5. Fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English. 6. Team Player. Job description and responsibilities: - 1. 2 years Traineeship (standard training contract) 2. Assisting in criminal, civil, matrimonial litigation and non-contentious matters; 3. Assisting in drafting and legal research; 4. Clerical /secretarial and administrative Duties; and 5. Court attendance and outdoor duties. Working Hours: - 1. Mon to Fri: 9:15 AM- 6:05 PM, and Sat: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM (alternate) 2. 1 month probation 3. Salary: HK$20,000 - HK$22,000 per month Term-time Internship Programme 2024 Summer Internship Vacancies: 3 (Available months: Jun 2024 - Sept 2024) Our Winter and Summer Internship Programmes aim at introducing students currently in their 2nd year of legal studies or above to the legal profession by providing full-time work experience. 2024 Term-time internship vacancies: 3 (All Year Round) Our part-time Term-time Internship Programme aims at providing opportunities for outstanding students who are passionate about joining the legal profession. Provided that you are: a) aged above 18; b) a third-year LL.B student; c) with good research skill; d) Excellent in typing in English and Traditional Chinese; and e) Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Please note that there will be no monetary compensation/pay for KNC internship. Successful applicants for the Term-time internship will be offered an internship of up to 6 months.
